New Hire Berklee Mac Laptop Setup

New hires should follow this guide to set up their computer received from Berklee.
Instructions
Plug your laptop’s power adapter into an outlet, and then connect it to your Berklee laptop.
Turn your laptop on using the power button in the upper right of the keyboard.
When prompted, select your Language and Country and press Continue.
Next, select any desired Accessibility features to adapt the Mac to your needs and follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: If not needing these features, select Not Now. These can be enabled or adjusted in the future using your system settings.
After this, select your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter your credentials.
For Wired Networks: If using a wired network, select Other Network Options.
Within the Remote Management menu, press Enroll.
When prompted, enter your Berklee OnePass username and password (without @berklee.edu), then press Connect.
If you are not prompted to enter your credentials, contact 2238@berklee.edu.
If you forget your OnePass credentials, visit onepass.berklee.edu on a separate device.
On the Migration Assistant Screen, select Not Now on the bottom left, then click Continue.
Next, you will create a computer account. Enter the following details, then press Continue:
Full name: Your Full Name
Account name: Your Berklee OnePass (without @berklee.edu)
Password: A strong password
Be sure to create a secure password:
Use passphrases over 12 characters. Remember, longer is stronger!
Use a password that is unique to Berklee.
Use words, spaces, and special characters to make your password as complex as possible.
On the Location Services screen, check the box next to Enable Location Services on this Mac and press Continue.
Lastly, when prompted to enable FileVault, click Continue.
Once you arrive at your Desktop, the Berklee Software app will launch automatically, after a few moments.
Berklee Software is an ITS-managed app installed on all Berklee computers. It gives faculty and staff the ability to safely install and update Berklee-provided software and services.
If Berklee Software does not launch automatically, it can be found in your Applications Folder.
