Connect to a Filemaker Pro Server

Follow the steps below to access FileMaker databases on Berklee servers.

 Instructions

  1. If off-campus, connect to the Berklee .

  2. Open the FileMaker Pro 19 application on your computer, located in your Applications folder.

If FileMaker Pro 19 is not present in your Applications folder, please install it via the Self Service app.

  1. Cancel out of any opening dialogs that may be displayed by FileMaker Pro.

  2. From the File menu, choose Hosts, then Show Hosts.

  3. Click the + button to the right of the Search Hosts box.

  1. Enter the server name in Host's Internet Address, and click Save.

Once connected to the Berklee network, databases will display on the right.

  1. Double-click to launch your database.

  2. If prompted, enter your Berklee OnePass username and password.

Does your department use a specific FileMaker launcher file to access their database? Make sure you have the latest launcher by downloading it from the Self Service app on your Berklee computer.
