What is the Berklee Universal ID?

As Berklee modernizes its digital systems to improve your student experience, we are introducing the Berklee Universal ID. This unique identification number is already active and assigned to you. Over the next few years, it will gradually replace legacy student ID numbers across all Berklee systems.

The "Two-ID" Transition Period

This is a rolling transition that will begin this summer and continue throughout the fall and spring semesters. During the transition period, some systems will temporarily continue to use your current student ID, while others will prompt you to provide your new Berklee Universal ID. We expect all systems to use the Berklee Universal ID by fall 2027.

For now, you will continue to use your current student ID in most platforms unless the login or form specifically asks for your Berklee Universal ID.

Our recommendation: Locate your Berklee Universal ID now and keep it, along with your current ID, in a safe place so you can access any services you need.
